Succeeded to the ownership of his father's homestead. Lived there from about the time of his marriage until February 4, 1700/01 when he sold it to Mark Prime and moved to a larger farm in Rowley, now in Byfield Parish(Essex Deeds, 32 : 5). He was living there May 16, 1716 when he gave his land to his son, John Tenney(Essex Deeds, 31 : 128). He died before January 19, 1725/26.
19. Gershom Tenney
Settled in Boston. His intention of marriage with Pricela Farrow of Hingham was filed in Boston on August 20, 1724. He was a sailor. His will, dated June 16, 1768, proved January 13, 1769 mentions wife Pricela "my two sons-in-law and daughters" Isaac Chittenden and Persis his wife and Benjamin Allen and Deborah.
20. Benjamin Tenney
Settled in Boston. By deed, dated January 19, 1725/26, he conveyed to his brother John Tenney his share of his father's estate(Essex Deeds, 49 : 205).
13. Hon. Thomas Lambert
He was the Town Clerk for 35 years. Built his home 1699 on Bay Road (see picture). In 1932 it is owned and occupied by his descendant, Mrs KNight Dexter (Ruth Lambert) Cheney. It is on the lot registered in 1643 to Thomas Barker.
