  Mystery solved on Baptisms of  John son of William and Joan as well as some other descendants. It was                                       not know where the Baptims took place. It is now known they were in Stretton, Leicestershire, England .
 There are no towns or villages in Scotland of this name (Stratton, or Stretton, or Stratoun).
